“Days of Thunder” alum Randy Quaid blew a gasket Saturday over the casting of Anne Hathaway in the NASCAR-themed sequel with Tom Cruise in the driver’s seat as Cole Trickle again.

The long-awaited Days of Thunder sequel has found its female lead.

Cruise will again play NASCAR driver Cole Trickle, with Hathaway playing a team owner and engineer.
